Jane Banks

Alex currently attends the Arts Educational School, Chiswick, London where she loves learning about many aspects of drama and dance. It was at a Summer course at this school where, at age 5, she first found her love for drama and acting.

Alex’s West End debut was as Matilda, in ‘Matilda The Musical’, at the Cambridge Theatre, London. Her first appearance was in Sep 2019 when she performed for six months before the COVID lockdown sadly hit the West End. Coming out of lockdown Alex performed in ‘The Show Must Go On’ charity performance held at The Palace Theatre, London, in June 2021 and in September 2021 she resumed her role as Matilda at the Cambridge Theatre up to March 2022.

Alex is thrilled to be performing as Jane Banks and is very excited to be playing alongside such a talented cast and crew at The Prince Edward Theatre. Alex is represented by Bijou Talent.
